Paramount Pictures and Bad
Robot have released a set of new images from 10 Cloverfield Lane, a blood relative to the 2008 J.J. Abrams
produced monster movie, Cloverfield.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg,
who is making feature directorial debut, 10 Cloverfield Lane was originally a
thriller called Shelter written by Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken that Abrams
and the folks over at Bad Robot decided to rewrite with the help of Whiplash's
writer/director Damien Chazelle into a movie set in the universe of Cloverfield.
Opening
in theaters on March
11, 10 Cloverfield Lane stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Gallagher Jr., and
John Goodman.
