While at the New York City red
carpet premiere of the second season of the much-anticipated Marvel's Daredevil,
Power Man himself, actor Mike Colter announced that Marvel's Luke Cage has been
scheduled to premiere on Netflix on September 30th, while promising that the
series will be action packed from day one.
"It's going to be action
packed from the beginning to the very end. Trust me," Colter said. "Daredevil premieres March
18, and I will see the fans on September 30."
Joining Colter on Luke Cage is Simone
Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Det. Rafael
Scarfe, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and Sonia Braga as Claire's mother
Soledad Temple.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable
skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in
modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and
must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past
he had tried to bury.
