Brendan Hines has
joined the Amazon pilot for The Tick, a new take on Ben Edlund's comic book
character that Edlund himself is writing and executive producing.
In the new series, the titular blue superhero (Peter Serafinowicz) is recovering from amnesia
and ends up re-teaming with his sidekick Arthur (Griffin Newman) to fight evil.
The new show will feature some new characters including Arthur’s sister Dot played
by Valorie Curry, and Superian played by Hines.
Transcendence
director and long-time Christopher Nolan director of photography Wally Pfister
will direct the pilot.
