British actor Ashley Thomas has land a role opposite Corey Hawkins in Fox's
pilot for 24: Legacy, a reboot of the successful TV franchise that will include
a brand new cast and characters.
24: Legacy follows Eric Carter
(Hawkins), a strong and smart Army Ranger, whose past in the military
forces him to jump back into action and seek help from the Counter Terrorist
Unit to try to prevent an attack on American soil.
Thomas will play Eric's older brother Isaac Carter. The relationship
between brothers is tense as a result of a problematic past, which includes
Eric now being married to Isaac's ex-girlfriend Nicole, played by Anna Diop.
Original 24 scribes Manny Coto and Evan Katz are penning the new show, with
Stephen Hopkins, who helmed the pilot of the original series, directing.
24: Legacy also stars Jimmy Smits, Miranda Otto, Teddy Sears, and Dab
Bucatinsky.
A newcomer to the U.S., Thomas credits includes roles in Black Mirror,
Criminal Justice, and Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands.
