ABC
and Marvel Television have announced the renewal of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
for a fourth season, making it clear that they have faith in the show despite
its low ratings.
The news comes has a surprise since this sort of
announcements usually comes in May during Upfronts, but recent changes within
ABC power structure including the replacement of Paul Lee by Channing Dungey (former
VP of drama) as Entertainment President, may account for the sudden
announcement.
Meanwhile, "Director
Coulson and his tireless team still have to face the menace of Hive and the
world's growing concerns about the number of Inhumans popping up across the
globe. There's plenty to come as we begin the second half of Season 3, and you
won't want to miss a minute of it!"
