Warner Bros. has
unveiled the brand new trailer for Zack Snyder's highly anticipated Batman v
Superman: Dawn of Justice, and it features plenty, and I mean plenty of new
footage.
The film picks up
after the events of Man of Steel, and it sees Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne's
ideologies clashing in a battle for the ages, all while a more sinister evil is
getting ready to put both heroes and Wonder Woman to the test with a gruesome
and very powerful monster.
The trailer has an
odd tone. At first the score makes it sound like a spy caper of sorts, but it
eventually finds its way. A lot is revealed in the trailer, including
confirmation that Lex Luthor uses General Zodd's body to create the villain
known as Doomsday. If you don't know who he is, Doomsday is the only villain to
have ever "killed" Superman, so be ready for hard and very
destructive fight.
Opening on March 25,
2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill Ben Affleck, Gal
Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diana Lane, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy,
Laurence Fishburne, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, and Tao Okamoto.

before. Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy
Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly
Hunter and Gal Gadot. Snyder directed from a screenplay written by Chris Terrio
and David S. Goyer, based on characters from DC Comics, including Batman,
created by Bob Kane, and Superman, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The
film is produced by Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder, with Wesley Coller, Geoff
Johns and David S. Goyer serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures
presents, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, a Zack Snyder
film, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The film opens nationwide in 3D and
2D and in select IMAX theaters on March 25, 2016, and will be distributed
