Legendary Pictures has
released the first trailer for Duncan Jones' upcoming Warcraft. Based on the
immensely popular World of Warcraft video game. The upcoming movie is an epic
adventure that chronicles the collision of two very distinct civilizations, the
realm of Azeroth and a fleeing race of Orc warriors, who intend to colonize the
peaceful world due to the extinction of their own.
As a portal opens to connect
the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From
opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the
fate of their family, their people and their home.
Coming out on June 10, 2016,
Warcraft stars Travis Fimmel, Toby Kebbel,Robert
Kazinsky, Ben Foster, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Daniel Wu, Clancy Brown,
Ruth Negga, and Callum Keith Rennie.
The studio also released a set of high-resolution stills and behind-the-scenes images featuring a lot of humans, orcs, and races in between.

Directed by Duncan Jones
(Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Jones, the film starring
Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben
Schnetzer, Rob Kazinskky and Daniel Wu is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard
Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production.
The producers are Charles
Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share,
Brent O’Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as Executive Producers.
Rob Pardo, Chris Metzen, Nick Carpenter and Rebecca Steel Roven co-produce. Warcraft will be released by Universal Pictures.
