Lionsgate has released a new TV spot for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -
Part 2 highlighting some moments of the past three films while looking ahead
with new and exciting footage from Francis Lawrence's upcoming last entry in
the franchise. In the final installment, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and her
team must navigate the dangerous and deadly streets of the Capitol, if they are
to fulfill their mission to kill President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Will they succeed?
Scheduled to come out on
November 20th, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Willow
Shields, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey
Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, and Julianne
Moore.
With the nation of Panem in a
full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the
final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale
(Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss
goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives
to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly
obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral
choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The
Hunger Games.
