Like all known properties, the next Bond film has seen its share of rumors, however, unlike most known titles, a lot of them have been
about who would be brave enough to follow Adele's Skyfall. There have been numerous
reports claiming that this singer or that group were being eyed by Sony, but it
seems that the one who will be singing what is one of the cornerstones of the
film series, the theme song, is none other than the English singer-songwriter Sam
Smith, if the picture he shared via his official Twitter account is anything to
go by.

Smith's confirmation comes on the heels of HitFix's
report that the song will be unveiled tomorrow, around the time the pre-sales
of tickets starts for the October 26th (UK) and November 6th (US) release. Making
the theme song go public tomorrow is a good marketing move since it is as integral
to the whole Bond experience as the gadgets, and the "shaken, not stirred"
and "Bond, James Bond" catchphrases.
