Studio Canal and The Weinstein Company have released a
new trailer for Justin Kurzel's intense looking and theatrical take on William
Shakespeare's Macbeth. Starring Michael Fassbender as the man who would be
king, and Marion Cotillard as his wife, Macbeth is a thrilling interpretation
of the dramatic realities of the times and a reimagining of what wartime must
have been like for one of Shakespeare’s most famous and compelling characters,
a story of all-consuming passion and ambition, set in war torn Scottish
landscape.
Opening on December 4, Macbeth also stars Sean Harris,
Paddy Considine, David Thewlis, Jack Reynor, and Elizabeth Debicki.
