Young actress Madison
Wolfe, who played Woody Harrelson's daughter on True Detective, and who has
landed the lead role opposite Zoe Saldana in the upcoming adaptation of I Kill
Giants, has joined the cast of James Wan's sequel to The Conjuring.
Wolfe will play "a
girl who is experiencing a haunting and desperate for help", and will be
the onscreen daughter of Frances O'Connor's character.
The Conjuring will
see the return of Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as paranormal investigators
Lorraine and Ed Warren.
Despite her young age,
Wolfe is starring in a series of interesting projects. Including True Detective,
I Kill Giants, and now The Conjuring 2, she will next be seen starring opposite
Bryan Cranston in Trumbo, and will appear in David O. Russell's Joy, and in Key
& Peel's Keanu.
