Glenn Morshower (Transformers
franchise, Bloodline, 24) has joined the cast of CBS' Supergirl as General Sam
Lane, the father of Lois and Lucy Lane, who Jenna Dewan Tatum is playing in the
series.
Described as a "power
military lifer" and an overprotective father to both daughters, General Lane's
arrival in National City will mean trouble for Supergirl, who he enlists for a
dangerous government program. The General's introduction will come right after the
debut of Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy.
Morshower is perhaps best
known for playing army or law enforcement roles in both TV and film.
