Tim Story's Ride Along 2 won't come out until early
next year, but Universal Pictures is already pushing for it. Kevin Hart and Ice
Cube return as Ben Barber and James Peyton, and this time the
soon-to-be-brothers-in-law travel to Miami to gather evidence and apprehend a
bit time drug dealer named Pope, played by Benjamin Bratt.
Opening on January 15, 2016, Ride Along 2 also stars
Ken Jeong, Olivia Munn, Bruce McGill, Tika Sumpter, Sherri Sheperd, and Nadine
Velazquez.
Kevin Hart and Ice Cube lead the returning lineup of Ride Along 2, the
sequel to the blockbuster action-comedy that gave us the year’s most popular
comedy duo. Joining Hart and Cube for the next chapter of the series are
director Tim Story, as well as Cube’s fellow producers—Will Packer, Matt
Alvarez and Larry Brezner—who will produce alongside Cube.
