The Weinstein Company
has released the first trailer for John Well's (August Osage County) upcoming
drama, Burnt. From a script by Steven Knight (Locke) and Michael Kalesniko (Iron
Man), Burnt stars Bradley Cooper as Adam Jones, a rockstar chef who had it all,
and lost it. Now, with the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene
(Sienna Miller), Jones will try to land that elusive third Michelin star.
I'm not a fan of
Well's previous film, August Osage County, it felt like actors acting, but I like
this trailer and I'm a big Bradley Cooper fan so I'm all in for Burnt. Plus, with
an October 23 release date scheduled you know they are aiming for the Oscars,
so maybe he will get his fourth best actor nomination.
Burnt also Emma Thompson, Omar Sy, Uma
Thurman, Matthew Rhys, and Daniel Brühl.
Chef Adam Jones
(Bradley Cooper) had it all – and lost it. A two-star Michelin rockstar with
the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant
scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the
thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third
elusive Michelin star though, he’ll need the best of the best on his side,
including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller). BURNT is a remarkably funny and
emotional story about the love of food, the love between two people, and the
power of second chances.
