With expectations
already high, Fox has decided to add yet another familiar name to the upcoming
X-Files revival. The network has announced that Annabeth Gish is set to reprise
her Agent Monica Reyes role from the eighth and nine seasons of the original
series.
Gish's return bolsters
the quite substantial list of returning characters that so far include Dana
Scully (Gillian Anderson), Fox Mulder (David Duchovny), Skinner (Mitch Pileggi),
The Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis), Byers (Bruce Harwood), Frohike (Tom
Braidwood), and Langley (Dean Haglund). I wonder if Robert Patrick's Agent John
Doggett will also be appearing?
Annet Mahendru, Joel
McHale, Lauren Ambrose, and Robbie Amell have also joined The X-Files revival,
which premieres on January 24, 2016.
