With Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation opening next
week on July 31st, Skydance Productions and Paramount Pictures have decided to
celebrate the iconic franchise by releasing a series of posters highlighting
some of the most exhilarating moments of each film, including Ethan Hunt (Tom
Cruise) dangling from a rope over a pressure sensitive floor in the first film
all the way to his most daring moment yet, dangling from the side of an
airplane while it takes off and flies away.
In Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Hunt’s (Tom Cruise) highly effective but
destructive Impossible Mission Force (IMF) disbanded by vengeful Washington
bureaucrats such as the CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his
team together (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca
Ferguson) to battle the shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive
leader (Sean Harris).
