Though Marvel Studios opted to skip San Diego Comic-Con this year, the
same can't be said for Marvel Television, who brought both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
and Agent Carter shows to Ballroom 20.
While at the panel, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb revealed that the third
season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will welcome the arrival of Lash.
Created in 2014 by writer Charles Soule and artist Joe Madureira, Lash
is a super strong and agile Inhuman, with the ability to siphon or absorb energy
and then expel it. Lash hails from Orollan, one of a few Inhuman tribes that
have split from the main society of Attilan. In Orollan Terrigen crystals are
scarce there for he believes that only those truly worthy should be allowed to
undergo the tranformation.
Loeb didn't revealed how or when the character will be introduced, but
in all likelihood he will either be recruited by Skye for the Secret Warriors
team, or is an Inhuman living in another hidden city or outpost like in the source material.
