Back in February,
after some pieces of non-official concept art for his Alien film got out, Neil
Blomkamp announced that 20th Century Fox had officially greenlit his take on
the franchise, which would see the return of Sigourney Weaver as Ripley and
Michael Biehn as Corporal Dwayne Hicks.
Since the announcement, news on the project
have been virtually nonexistent, until now. The director has shared yet another
piece of art for the film featuring Ripley and Hicks defiantly looking at South
Korean Colonial Marine.
Planned for a Fall of
2015 start of production, Blomkamp's Alien will be a genetic sibling to Aliens.
