Marvel Studios and Sony have teamed up with Horrible
Bosses writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein for the upcoming
Spider-Man reboot. Coming off the Vacation sequel/reboot, the duo was previously
mentioned as possible contenders to direct the movie, but that job went to Cop
Car director Jon Watts.
Not envisioned as an origin story, the reboot will
count with Tom Holland as a young Peter Parker, and will be set in high school.
Marisa Tomei is reportedly in talks to play Aunt May.
Daley and Goldstein also collaborated on The
Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, and Horrible
Bosses 2.
