Paramount Pictures and Skydance have released three new TV spots for the
upcoming fifth Mission: Impossible installment starring Tom Cruise. Directed by
Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher), Rogue Nation sees Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and
his disbanded team of IMF agents go up against a shadowy force known as The
Syndicate.
Scheduled to hit theaters on July 31st, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
also stars, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Alec
Baldwin, Sean Harris, and Simon McBurney.
The new flick finds Hunt’s highly effective but destructive Impossible
Mission Force (IMF) disbanded by vengeful Washington bureaucrats such as the
CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his team together (Jeremy
Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson) to battle the
shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive leader (Sean Harris).
