Warner Bros. hit the Comic-Con
jackpot this year. Without Marvel to compete for the superhero spotlight,
Warner had the opportunity to highlight their upcoming DC Cinematic Universe.
Though they didn't make too much of a spectacle, Warner. re-announced their DC
films schedule alongside some concept art, including a piece featuring Ezra
Miller as The Flash, and logos, which seemed to confirm that the upcoming Green
Lantern film will indeed include more than one power ring bearer.
Green Lantern Corps.
was the title announced and it seems to confirm the recent rumors that the
upcoming reboot might focus on more than human green lantern, specifically Hal
Jordan and John Stewart, which according to said rumors may end up being played
by Chris Pine and Tyrese Gibson respectively.
We still don't know if
or when the character(s) will be introduced before their solo outing, so it's
hard to pinpoint a general date as to when Warner. will start making casting announcements.
