Back at Comic-Con,
Greg Berlanti announced that DC superhero Mr. Terrific would be joining the
upcoming fourth season of Arrow. Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that Echo
Kellum (Rick and Morty, Sean Saves the World) has been brought onboard to play
the character, which will slightly differ from his comic books counterpart.
In the series, Mr.
Terrific goes by the name of Curtis Holt when not fighting crime. Holt is a
tech genius working under Felicity Smoak at Palmer Industries, and was revealed
by Berlanti to be gay. In the comics however, the hero's civilian name is Michael
Holt, and though he also is a crime fighting tech genius, it's the death of his
wife and unborn child that compel him to join the Justice Society of America.
Kellum will make his Arrow
debut on the second episode of the new season.
