With a couple of
weeks left on the calendar before its August 7 release, 20th Century Fox has
decided to push the marketing for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four in a completely
new direction.
The studio has brought
in renowned theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, who you might have seen in
countless TV shows, to talk in a series of featurettes about the science presented in
Fantastic Four.
Opening on August 7, Fantastic Four stars Miles
Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey,
and Tim Blake Nelson.
FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of
Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young
outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters
their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team
must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save
Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
