Paul Feig has acquired four new actors to which
populate his upcoming reimagining of the Ghostbusters franchise. According to
The Wrap, Andy Garcia (Godfather Part III, Ocean's Eleven), Michael K.
Williams (Boardwalk Empire), Cecily Strong (SNL), and Matt Walsh (Veep) have all joined the upcoming film,
which also stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, and
Chris Hemsworth.
According to the site, Garcia will play the Mayor of New York City, while Williams
and Walsh will play characters named Hawkins, and Rourke respectively. As for Strong,
though in the film, her character wasn't revealed.
Ghostbusters opens on July 22, 2016.
