The secret is out!
Marvel has officially confirmed that the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
will indeed include the black ops superhero team known as the Secret Warriors.
In the comics, the Secret Warriors are a small unit of superhuman
operatives that work directly under Nick Fury's supervision. Divided into White,
Black, and Grey, each Secret Warrior team has its own mission parameters, with
White being the tip of the spear, while Black handles HYDRA, and Grey is tasked
with Leviathan.
Daisy Johnson, aka Quake played by Chloe Bennett in the show, is the
leader of team White, which also includes Hellfire, Druid, Phobos, Slingshot,
Eden Fesi, and Stonewall.
"Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns
for a powerful third season introducing new friends and foes inspired by the
critically acclaimed SECRET WARRIORS comic series. In the aftermath of
S.H.I.E.L.D.’s battle with Jiaying and the Inhumans, Director Coulson will
search the world for more powered people and assemble an extraordinary new team
to deal with threats unlike the world has ever seen. However, the Agents of
S.H.I.E.L.D. will soon find out they're not the only ones tracking down these
new Inhumans.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on September 29 on ABC.
