With Warner Bros. reshuffling
their DC Vertigo Imprint adaptations over to New Line, comes word that
Guillermo del Toro is stepping down as director from Justice League Dark.
The last time we heard
anything about the project the filmmaker revealed that they had turned in a script,
but that given is busy schedule, he was unsure if he would be able to slot the
project in.
Well according to The Hollywood
Reporter, del Toro, who is currently working on the Pacific Rim sequel, as well
as giving the final touches on Crimson Peak, and the second season of The
Strain, is definitely out.
Unlike the other Justice League,
which will come out with Warner's stamp on it, Justice League Dark features
supernatural and mystic superheroes like Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman, and
Swamp Thing.
