Armed with the knowledge
gained in 2011 when Green Lantern bombed in theaters, Warner Bros. seems keen
to shake things up for the next and new big screen iteration of the character(s)
in 2020.
According to Collider,
Warner Bros. is planning to introduce multiple Human Lanterns into their
cinematic universe, and though caution is advised since a lot could happen
between now and then, it seems that Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Guy Gardner have
already been picked by the studio to lead the film. Furthermore, according to
them the plan moving forward is to focus on different Green Lanterns.
In addition to all
this, they claim that there is a possibility that the studio will introduce the
Green Lanterns at this year's San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel.
