Warner Bros. has picked
up the rights to writer Gerry Duggan, and artist Phil Noto's six-issue graphic novel, The
Infinite Horizon. Including in the deal are possibility of adapting the material to a miniseries, or a film which already has a script penned by Ryan Condal (Hercules).
According to Variety,
Arrow and The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti will produce alongside Sarah
Schechter (Pan), and Lawrence Grey (Last Vegas).
Set in the near future, what essentially is an updated
version of Homer's The Odyssey and follows The Soldier with No Name, who
surviving a war must with his team of abandoned soldiers venture on a deadly journey
home "escaping shipwrecks, beating a
vicious opponent wearing a cycloptic combat armor and resisting the siren’s
call of a predatory society."
