A new set of images from
Guillermo del Toro's upcoming gothic horror film Crimson Peak have been made
available and they show the filmmaker's eye for design with a new look at the striking
Allerdale Hall, which breathes, bleeds, and remembers. The house is a character
in its own right and is where Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska), "a young woman swept off by her feet by a
charismatic suitor (Tom Hiddleston) and taken back to his ancestral home. There
she finds more than she bargained for, including a jealous sister (Jessica
Chastain) and more than a few skeletons in the closet."
Opening on October 16th, 2015,
Crimson Peak also stars Charlie Hunnam, and Jim Beaver.
