Universal Pictures'
art-house division Focus Features has revived the Gramercy Pictures label and to
kick things off they gave it some of its current titles like Insidious: Chapter
3, Sinister 2, Self/Less, The Forest, London Has Fallen, and the adaptation of
the Ratchet & Clank video game set to be released on April 29, 2016.
Gramercy Pictures was created in 1992 and as a production company, Gramercy put out such films as Dazed and Confused, Mallrats, Being John Malkovich, and Betty. Now however, it seems that the company's focus will turn to "boldly imagined action, horror, and sci-fi genre movies."
