After dazzling
everyone with her performance in Alex Garland's directorial debut, Ex_Machina,
Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is in talks to join Michael Fassbender in
Justin Kurzel's adaptation of Assassin's Creed, as well as Matt Damon in Paul
Greengrass' next Jason Bourne film.
Deadline reported the
news and they claim that Vikander's deal is all but said and done, with
scheduling being the only hinder to the actress signing for both projects.
Vikander has a few exciting
projects coming up this year. She will be seen opposite Henry Cavill, and Armie
Hammer in Guy Ritchie's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (August 14). The actress is
also starring in Tom Hopper's The Danish Girl opposite Eddie Redmayne (November
27), and in John Well's Adam Jones (October 2) with Bradley Cooper, and Jamie
Dornan. Finally, she is also starring in Justin Chadwick's Tulip Forever
featuring Jack O'Connell, Christoph Waltz, and Dane DeHaan, and in Derek
Cianfrance's The Light Between Oceans opposite Michael Fassbender, and Rachel
Weisz.
Assassin's Creed hits
theaters on December 21, 2016, while the next Bourne installment in set for a
July 29, 2016.
