Currently in production in
Toronto, the cast of David Ayer's Suicide Squad welcomes yet another actor to
its midst. According to Variety, actor Alex Meraz, who played Paul Lahote in
the Twilight saga has joined the project in a yet unknown role.
Meraz has also appeared in
Terrence Malick's The New World, and in the TV series The Glades, and TV mini-series
New Worlds.
Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jared Leto, Jai
Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Scott Eastwood, Jay
Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Adam Beach, Jim
Parrack, Ike Barinholtz, and Common.
Suicide Squad opens on August 5, 2016.
