Disney
and Lucasfilm have just released the new teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams's
highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, featuring for the first time a
look at some old faces, some new shots of the new ones, and a lot of cool new
action, and foes as well.
I
know this is just teaser and we can't extrapolate how the film will end up, but
it feels very reminiscent of the original trilogy. From the long panoramic of
the desert with the speeder at the beginning, to Han and Chewie back
in the Millennium Falcon at the end.
The
teaser also makes a great job of telling us (as if didn't already knew) that
The Force Awakens is set in a time where the empire is starting to lose its
grip on the galaxy.
