There have been some rumors
that The Lego Movie, and 22 Jump Street directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller
were being eyed to develop the already announced Flash movie, which is part of
Warner Bros. slate of DC Comics films.
According to Deadline Lord and
Miller are indeed attached to develop a Flash story for the studio's upcoming
big screen adaptation of the character, whose powers will allow him to "break
the speed of light and time travel". I'm not sure if that is what the duo
is going for, or if it's just a general description of the character and his
powers.
At this time it's unknown if
the duo will also direct, or if they will just stick with the story.
The Flash will star Ezra
Miller in the titular role, and will open on March 23rd, 2018.
