After a razor sharp and deadly
performance as Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service, actress/dancer Sofia
Boutella moves up the tentpole and joins the third installment of Star
Trek.
Though they don't have any specifics
on what her character is or whether she is good or bad, Deadline reports that Boutella
has landed a leading role in Star Trek 3.
Penned by Simon Pegg and Doug Junn,
and directed by Justin Lin, Star Trek 3 will see the return of Chris Pine,
Zachary Quinto, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, and of course Pegg
himself.
Star Trek 3 opens on July 8, 2016.
