David
Ayer's recent Suicide Squad cast photo took fans by surprise as it revealed the addition of
three new cast members, Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors), Jim Parrack (Fury), and Adam Beach (Flags of
Our Fathers).
As
expected the rumor mill quickly started spinning and the first things that came
up was that Barinholtz
was going to play Dr. Hugo Strange, Beach either Ravan or Slipknot, and Parrack
would be Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke.
As for Beach and Barinholtz the jury
is still out on who they have been cast for, but Parrack seems to have confirmed
the Deathstroke rumor.
Opening on
August 5, 2016 Suicide Squad stars Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Will Smith
(Deadshot), Jared Leto (Joker), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara
Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Viola Davis (Amanda
Waller), Scott Eastwood (rumored to play Steve Trevor), Jay Hernandez (El
Diablo), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Karen
Fukuhara, Adam Beach, Jim Parrack, and Ike Barinholtz.
