Bryan Singer has
confirmed that EastEnders actor Ben Hardy is set to play Warren Worthington III,
aka Angel in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
"Ben Hardy is Angel – I shall confirm it for you!"
said Singer. "But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…"
Singer's confirmation
validates the rumor that the actor, who was cast awhile back but whose character
was never revealed, is indeed playing the winger mutant known as Angel. However
it sounds and looks like the actor will in fact be playing Archangel, the
augmented version of Angel, and one of Apocalypse's Horseman.
