Director Jonathan Liebesman
has become attached to an Unforgiven-esque King Arthur movie for Thunder Road
Pictures. It seems that the film will follow an older Sir. Lancelot as he tries
to make emends after his love for Guinevere ends up destroying Camelot. The
project was penned by Jeremy Lott, who sold Sony a $1million Robin Hood shared
universe franchise pitch.
Liebesman, who
recently directed the successful reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but
is suspiciously absent of its sequel, is attached to direct this new King
Arthur story.
