It looks like AMC is
looking at Dominic Cooper to play Jesse Custer in Seth Rogen, and Evan
Goldberg's upcoming TV adaptation of Garth Ennis, and Steve Dillon's cult favorite
comic series, Preacher.
News comes from The
Tracking Board, who is reporting that although no official offer was made to
the actor, he is the one the network wants to play the adaptation of the 75-issue series that tells the story of Texas Reverend Jesse Custer, who
after merging with the offspring of a demon and an angel, teams up with his
ex-girlfriend Tulip O’Hare and an Irish vampire called Cassidy to find God and
make him explain why he abandoned creation.
