Director Bryan Singer has
just announced that newcomer Lana Condor, who as far as I could search is
making her acting debut, as joined the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse as the yellow
trench coat wearing Jubilation Lee, better known as Jubilee.
It's unclear how big of a
part she will have, if an actual acting role, or just as a background character
like the two previous incarnations played by Katrina Florence (X-Men), and Kea
Wong (X2, and X-Men: The Last Stand).
Opening on May 27, 2016, X-Men: Apocalypse stars James McAvoy (Professor X), Nicholas Hoult (Beast),
Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Rose
Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), Alexandra Shipp (Storm),
Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Kodi Smit-McPhee
(Nightcrawler), and though not confirmed yet, Evan
Peters (Quicksilver).
