There has been some miscommunication in
regards to whether Dwayne Johnson would reprise his Black Adam role from the
upcoming Shazam film in the Justice League movies or not. According to the
actor, for now the best thing is to develop the character so that there is some
sincerity in the moment when he changes from villain to anti-hero, other than
that he believes yes Black Adam could very well appear in the Justice League
movie.
I think you always want to leave that creatively open,
that he could join Justice League. That's the fun part about creating this
character.
Shazam is scheduled to hit theater on April 5, 2019,
though the actor has teased the possibility that it might come earlier than
that. As for the Justice League movies, Part 1 opens on November 23, 2017,
while Part 2 is scheduled for June 14, 2019.
