Think Like A Man franchise, Californication
and Anchorman 2 actress Meagan Good has signed on to star in the upcoming pilot
for the Minority Report tv series. A sequel to Steven Spielberg's film, the
series is set ten years after the end of
PreCrime in D.C.when one of the three Precogs struggles to lead a ‘normal’ human
life but remains haunted by visions of the future. He meets detective Lara Vega
(Good) haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.
Good joins Daniel London, and
Li Jun Li. London, who appeared in the Spielberg film, will reprise his role of
Wally the Caretaker of the Precrime Temple. "A decade later, he is eager to
help Vega and is assisting Dash in establishing a new identity."
Li will play Akeela, a Crime
Scene Investigation tech that works closely with Vega.
Spielberg's film was loosely
based on author Philip K. Dick's short story of the same name, and featured Tom
Cruise as Chief John Anderton, a police officer in a special
police unit, able to arrest murderers before they commit their crimes.
