Jay Hernandez In Talks To Join Suicide Squad

Friday Night Lights, and Gang Related star Jay Hernandez is in negotiations to join writer/director David Ayer's villain centric Suicide Squad. According to The Wrap there is a possibility that the actor could play an inmate on the same cell block as Jared Leto's Joker.

Hernandez is the second actor in a matter of days said to be in talks for a role in Suicide Squad. Joel Kinnaman is also in talks to join the film, but to replace Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg.

As of now, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (Joker), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), and is slated to open on August 5th, 2016 release.
