Despite having a
solid body of live-action roles in such movie like Topsy-Turvy or 24 Hour Party
People, it's difficult not to think that Andy Serkis won't be using his
performance capture talents in J.J. Abrams Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
According to Jedi
News, Serkis has two roles in the upcoming Star Wars film. One will be motion
captured, and will see him in a “group
of unbelievably athletic and acrobatic motion capture characters.” The second one however it's being reported as a
“pivotal role in the first act story arc that entwines with Daisy Ridley‘s backstory.” The site adds
that this role “may have more to it than it seems in the first instance.”
Take it with a grain
of salt as the only thing we know about Serkis in the upcoming Star Wars is
that he is the voice in the teaser, but what do you think of Serkis possibly
having two roles in the film?
