On the heels of the
announcement that Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead director
Michelle MacLeran is on the top of Warner Bros. list to helm Wonder Woman's
solo outing, two new names have surfaced.
According to THR,
directors Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland), and Jennifer Kent (The Babadook) have
also had meetings with the studio, but they point out that the studio "is
not married to the idea of a female director."
Well one thing is for
sure both Glatter, Kent, and MacLeran have strong female leading characters in
their respective shows and movies, so it would be wise for the studio to grab
one of them or someone like them to helm Wonder Woman, otherwise Marvel might
jump in and grab one for Captain Marvel.
