The cast for the upcoming TV adaptation of Robert
Kirkman, and Paul Azaceta's latest comic has been filled. According to The
Hollywood Reporter,
Reg E. Cathy (House of Cards), Julia Crockett (Law & Order: Criminal
Intent), Wrenn Schmidt (Boardwalk Empire), and Kip Pardue (Ray Donovan) have
joined Patrick Fugit (Gone Girl), Philip Glenister (Big School), and Gabriel Bateman
in the upcoming adaptation.
Outcast follows Kyle Barnes (Fugit),
a man who has suffered from demonic possession almost his entire life, and
embarks on a mission to understand why the demon plagues him. Along the way he
meets a hard-drinking reverend called Anderson (Glenister), his buddy Giles (Cathy),
Barnes' mother (Crockett), his psychiatrist sister (Holter), and her husband
mark (Pardue).
Outcast is set to air on Cinnemax. No
release date has yet been announced.
