We
are less than six months away from Star Wars Celebration. Next year the event,
which will be held at the Anaheim Center between April 16 and 19, is expected
to set a new attendance record, at least according to Lucasfilm senior event
and fan relations lead, Mary Franklin.
"It’s
going to be really interesting, because we are way ahead with ticket sales from
where we usually are this far out,” said Franklin. “I feel safe saying this is going to be the biggest one yet.”
The program features art shows, diorama building, Jedi training, and much, much more. Of course some type of announcement, footage, or a trailer (if one hasn't been released by then) for J.J. Abrams Star Wars: The Force Awakens is expected.
