The first official
images of Joe Wright's (Atonement, Hanna) upcoming Peter Pan origin storyhave been released.
Based on characters by J.M. Barrie, Pan stars Hugh Jackman has Blackbeard, a
villainous pirate who has been kidnapping wartime orphans, including…yes you
guessed it…Peter, played by Levi Miller.
Also starring in this
July 17, 2015 release is Amanda Seyfried as Mary, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily,
Nonso Anozie as Bishop, Paul Kaye as Mutti Voosht, Adeel Akhtar as Mr. Smee,
and Garrett Hedlund as a hookless Hook, who the director describes as a "dashing
Indiana Jones-like figure."
