Daniel Brühl Joins Captain America: Civil Wars As Villain

Good Bye Lenin!, Inglorious Basterds, and Rush star Daniel Brühl as joined Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) in Joe and Anthony Russo's Captain America: Civil War.

“With Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes,” said Kevin Feige.

However, Deadline reports that Brühl is set up to play a villain in Cap 3, and given that he is German my mind suddenly floats to some top Hydra brass, like Baron Zemo, but Variety reports that the actor "is not the main villain in 'Captain America: Civil War' but could potentially be the top menace in Marvel’s 'Dr. Strange.'"
