Following
last week's big announcement that the Deadpool film would finally see the light
of day in 2016, buzz about the film's rating started to emerge. According to
the rumors, Fox was keen on having Tim Miller's Deapool film be PG-13, but now…
So will
the Merc With a Mouth get his mouth censored to a PG-13 rating like many
assumed or will he be able to spew everything he wants with an R-rated film?
Well according to screenwriter Rhett Reese it's still too early to say for
sure.
Hey, guys, no one knows yet whether Dpool will be R or PG-13. There may not be an announcement for a long while. Hang in!

If I had
to put money on it, I would say that money will be the main factor to decide
whether Deadpool will be PG-13 or rated-R. If you look at the box-office
numbers, PG-13 superheroes movies make substantially more money because they
put more butts in theaters than the R-rated ones, so if you follow that line of reasoning what do you think the executives over at Fox are discussing?
